I began my career at the New England Journal of Medicine, and then worked at two other major medical journals. I have coauthored peer-reviewed papers in journals such as JAMA, and have over 30 years of experience as a board-certified author's editor. This broad experience gives me a unique advantage in editing manuscripts for timely acceptance in high-impact journals. I teach workshops on proposal and manuscript writing from a strategic perspective. I help applicants use "grantsmanship", think like reviewers of applications and manuscripts, and incorporate fresh perspectives in their writing.
